From one to two, and two to a movement!
The Social Impact Academy is proud to announce its inaugural project, headquartered in the heart of Warwickshire. Our founder, Mark Hamilton-Taylor has deep roots in the Warwick community, with parents who were respected antique dealers in a section of Warwick town centre named after the family, Taylor Court.
Mark's connection to the area is both personal and profound. Returning to Warwickshire is not just a homecoming; it's an opportunity to give back and address the unique challenges faced by this historic region.
Our first mission focuses on supporting neurodiversity in Warwickshire and the West Midlands, a cause that promises to deliver significant economic and societal benefits. With over 200,000 neurodiverse individuals in the county, our initiatives aim to empower this community, providing them with the tools and support they need to thrive.
By positively impacting just 20% of these individuals, we project a transformative economic uplift of £7 billion over the next decade. This isn't just about helping neurodiverse individuals; it's about boosting the local economy, strengthening Warwickshire, the West Midlands and creating a ripple effect of prosperity throughout the region and the UK.
The Social Impact Academy is committed to reducing unemployment among neurodiverse individuals, a strategy that promises to yield substantial economic and societal returns. Integrating our initiatives into (ESG) Environmental, Social, and Governance reporting allows companies to showcase their commitment to social responsibility while reaping significant financial rewards. This alignment promises not just short-term gains but also long-term sustainable growth and societal benefits, making Warwickshire a beacon of inclusive excellence.
By leveraging our deep local ties and a comprehensive approach to social impact, we envision a future where Warwickshire leads the way in embracing and celebrating neurodiversity. Our efforts provide a powerful case for stakeholders and potential investors, underscoring the transformative potential of our mission. As we embark on this noble journey, we invite you to join us in making a lasting difference, not just in Warwickshire/West Midlands but across the UK, one community at a time.

Neurodiversity & NetZero
I am so proud of the team assembled to be a part of The Social Impact Academy, an organisation committed to driving meaningful change in our society. As someone who was late-diagnosed with High Func Aspergers at 48 years old—after masking my dyslexia since I was 9—I’ve experienced firsthand the challenges and misunderstandings that come with being neurodivergent. This has been further underscored by the struggles my two incredible sons have faced in their educational journeys.
Proudly born and bred in Warwickshire, I’ve witnessed the systemic failures that have let down thousands of children. Rather than just be moaning about these shortcomings, I am determined to make a tangible difference and bring value back to our community. This conviction has driven me to relocate The Social Impact Academy’s headquarters to Warwickshire, and our very first mission is to champion neurodiversity.
Our goal is to create an inclusive environment that recognises and celebrates the unique strengths of neurodiverse individuals. With over 1 in 7 people being neurodiverse, it’s crucial that we leverage this potential for the greater good. I am excited to collaborate with a passionate team and stakeholders to transform perceptions and support neurodiverse communities in thriving.
Join me in this important endeavour to make Warwickshire/West Midlands—and the world—a more inclusive and supportive place for everyone. Together, we can turn challenges into opportunities and build a future where all minds are valued.

Chief Advocate for Systemic Change
I have been incredibly fortunate to have a career that allows me to connect with others whilst building strong client relationships.
From leading a sales team to working solo developing small businesses, I truly enjoy what I do. I'm an advocate for mental health and Autism, particularly for females who are currently being detained or at risk of being detained under the Mental Health Act.
I'm campaigning for a new law to be introduced into Parliament, “Lolly’s Law, “ in memory of my daughter, Lauren.
I believe Lolly’s law will make a huge difference to a lot of young people and adults who not only remain detained under the Mental Health Act but to those who are also at risk of being hospitalised.
I want to make sure that no family has to go through what we have experienced and I'm calling for the Government to enact Lolly’s Law - a law to protect vulnerable people from experiencing what happened to Lauren.
My goal is to prevent what happened to Lauren, from happening to anyone else, education is key.
