Introducing Julie Gallagher – As our Lead on #NetZero
Our Vision
We are delighted to welcome Julie Gallagher to The Social Impact Academy as a Board Advisor and Executive. Julie is a Strategic Leader in Energy Efficiency & Decarbonisation with over 12 years of experience in the field. She has been instrumental in supporting both public and private sectors on their journey to net zero, demonstrating a deep commitment to driving transformative change in reducing carbon emissions and achieving ambitious sustainability goals.
Julie’s expertise lies in developing and implementing comprehensive decarbonisation pathways, from setting emissions targets to identifying and executing transformational changes that ensure a sustainable future. As a strategic leader, she directs and project manages initiatives that leverage innovative technologies and capabilities, cultivating strong relationships with senior leaders across various industries.
Her work has significantly impacted growth segments such as renewable technologies and retrofit projects, contributing to projects with exceptional ROI. Julie’s efforts include facilitating the adoption of electric fleet car charging infrastructure, advancing Wind and Solar PV (both roof and ground mount) projects, and implementing Battery Storage solutions. She also plays a critical role in Supply Chain Management, offering end-to-end solutions and advising on utility procurement strategies to empower organizations to transition to green energy while optimising costs.
